CREWE and Nantwich residents are encouraged to see their local regiment march through Sandbach next week.
More than 140 soldiers from The Mercian Regiment will march through the centre of Sandbach on Sunday, June 29, as they are granted the Freedom of Entry to the town.
Soldiers will be accompanied by the Mercian Regiment’s mascot, Private Derby – a Swaledale Ram – along with the Scouts, the local combined cadet forces and members of the Royal British Legion.
