Division Three Dominoes top two Liberal Club and Kings Arms B remain separated by two points after respective 5-3 wins at third-placed Raven and Rileys Club A.
Coppenhall Club’s second successive 6-2 win, this week at the Hawk, lifts them to joint fourth with Swan and Chequers.
Division Four Dominoes toppers White Lion let a 4-1 lead slip away in their draw at Coach and Horses, but are seven points clear of Duke of Bridgewater C, up a place from third after beating their B team 7-1, the latter needing to thank Andy Norbury for preventing the whitewash.
Division Five Dominoes pacemakers Prince of Wales A beat a depleted Foresters Arms B 7-1, Dave Dodd’s win staving off the whitewash to open up an eight points gap over Brunel Arms C.
They were 3-1 up in their draw with Rileys Club B. Third-placed Brunel Arms B overturned a 3-0 deficit to win 5-3 at Hop Pole B, but are seemingly involved in a battle for the runners-up spot.
