Wharton will benefit from an overhaul similar to that undertaken in Over, illustrated
WHARTON Recreation Ground in Winsford will be the latest play area to benefit from a town council-backed transformation.
Like the £75,000 overhaul of Over’s rec, Wharton will receive a new outdoor gym and play area in the coming months.
The regeneration follows the designation of each area as a Queen Elizabeth II Field.
The initiative saw Winsford Town Council successfully apply to have the recreation grounds protected from development in perpetuity –ensuring that they will always be available for future generations to use.
