Winsford NMC receives lottery funding boost
WINSFORD’S Neuromuscular Centre received a funding boost thanks to players of a charity lottery.
The Woodford Lane-based NMC, which cares for people with muscular dystrophy, was awarded £7,205 by People’s Postcode Trust –a grant-giving charity funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
The organisation plan to use the money to run activities for carers in a newly constructed retreat.
The new retreat will provide a resource for carers to use for group activities and for one to one sessions with NMC’s support worker.
