A NEW bridal shop in Northwich is hoping for success at an awards ceremony tomorrow, Wednesday.

Michelle Waldron, from Lechelles Bridal, in Witton Street, was astonished when the shop was nominated for an award just seven weeks after it opened.

The shop is in the running for North West Bridal Retailer of the Year in a competition organised by County Brides magazine.

Michelle said: “I was shocked when we got notification and thought ‘is this a joke?’.

“We’ve been nominated in such a short space of time and I’m a bit taken aback.

“We seem to have had a really good response from the customers we’ve had so we know we’re doing something right.”
