NEW mayor, clr Gina Lewis, joined fellow dignitaries for the annual civic service and parade in Winsford on Sunday, June 8.

Bagpipers, members of the British Legion and the mayors of neighbouring towns joined the parade to Christ Church for a service led by Reverend Tim Hanson.

“The event went very well,” said clr Lewis.

“There was some really great singing from VoCel and children from Wharton CE Primary school. The weather was also very kind to us, as walked in sunshine.”
