A FOOTBALLING pre-school for toddlers is already expanding less than a fortnight since it opened in Rudheath.
Mini Dribblers launched at Shurlach Chapel on March 10, with a little help from Mark Harris, chairman of Witton Albion Football Club.
Husband and wife team Paul and Debbie Lambert had plans in the pipeline for sessions in Rudheath and Lostock on Mondays and Tuesdays but now they have added venues in Weaverham, Middlewich and Knutsford to the list.
Debbie said: “It’s taken off really well.
“We had 12 at the first session, five at the second and in the afternoon we had nine, which is great considering it was the first time.
“Mark Harris, from Witton Albion, came and opened it for us and said if ever we need anything they will help us out.”
Mini Dribblers is for children aged between 18 months and five years old.
The couple’s aim is to use fun and playing games to teach children hand-eye co-ordination, teamwork, counting, colours and how to follow instructions as well as building confidence and self-esteem.
Sessions are held at Shurlach Chapel on Monday mornings and Lostock Community Centre on Monday afternoons.
On Tuesday mornings the venue is Weaverham Community Centre with a venue in Knutsford on Tuesday afternoons.
The Middlewich sessions take place at the Wyche Centre on Wednesday afternoons.
Each session is £4 for 45 minutes.
