A GROUP of youngsters have given a games room in Davenham a new lease of life.
The team of 11 young people from The Prince's Trust programme at Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service chose the Royal British Legion as the place they wanted to renovate.
They gave the games room a face lift by washing and sanding and then painting before adding a whole host of new accessories to complete the new look.
Hazel Crompton, programme leader, said: "The team has worked extremely hard to create something special for the Royal British Legion and we are delighted with the results.
"A special thank you must go to all the businesses and individuals who have supported this project."
The Prince's Trust Team programme is a national imitative providing training, qualifications and work experience to improve young people's confidence and self esteem as well as their chances of finding employment of training courses.
Anyone aged between 16 and 25 who wants to join the next team, which starts on May 12, can find out more information by ringing Sam Rogers on 07717651690 or by visiting www.cheshirefire.gov.uk.
