Wendy Margaret SPREYER

SPREYER Wendy Margaret (91 years) passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday September 17th at her home in Bulkeley, Cheshire. Dementia and age took their toll. Wendy was born and raised in Northwich, Cheshire, the daughter of Norman Eachus and Rosa Eachus and younger sister of Christine Molly Battisson. She was pre-deceased by her husband Daniel Charles David Spreyer. Wendy is survived by her only son, Kim Eachus Spreyer and only daughter Michelle Wendy Sale. She is also survived by her grandsons, Steven Sale and his wife Elizabeth, Andrew Sale and his wife Lydia, and her granddaughter Victoria Williams. Also survived by her niece Heather Battisson-Howard and her husband Gareth. Wendy leaves behind six great-grandchildren, Oliver, Douglas, Alfred, Charles, Beatrice, Haf and great-nephew William. Wendy was an avid horse lover who enjoyed riding out in her younger years having owned several horses over the years. Being very active, she also enjoyed gardening, bicycle riding, playing tennis, line-dancing and scuba diving. She had been an infant, junior and secondary school teacher, primarily teaching arts and crafts. Her last post was at Leftwich Girls Grammer school. Wendy also enjoyed painting (watercolours) and throwing pots, owning her own kiln at one point in time. The funeral service will take place at Vale Royal Crematorium on Monday 7th October at 12noon. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in memory of Wendy to The Alzheimer's Society. R.I.P Wendy, you will be missed. Sending my deepest sympathy to the family. Mrs Spreyer also taught me at the Grammar school and was a lovely lady with a happy nature , very patient and kind hearted . R.I.P.

She was a lovely lady who taught me at northwich girls grammar school, and pottery was my favorite .
