HARWOOD Carole Ann (Dronfield Woodhouse) Mrs Carole Harwood of Dronfield Woodhouse has sadly passed away in The Green Nursing Home, Dronfield on Friday, April 5, 2024 aged 84 years. Born in Davenham, Cheshire, Carole and her husband Les have lived locally in Derbyshire for seventeen years. Prior to retirement, Carole worked as a clerical officer. Carole's hobbies included reading and listening to music, being outdoors especially walking at places such as Rookery Pool in Cheshire and she also enjoyed watching nature, especially the birds. Carole and Les liked taking trips to Llandudno where they spent their honeymoon. One of her greatest passions was fashion and shopping, always having a keen eye for colour in clothing. Most of all Carole loved her family and being a homemaker. Carole leaves behind her loving husband Les and daughters Clare and Val along with two grandchildren. The funeral service will take place at All Saints' Church, Bakewell on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11.00am followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu of are invited for Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Tinnitus Support Group and these along with any enquiries may be sent care of the funeral directors.
