QUINTON Allan Arthur We are sad to announce the death of Allan Arthur Quinton who passed away peacefully at his home in Winsford on 18th December 2023, aged 95 years. Allan was born in Grundisburgh, Suffolk on 17th July 1928. During his life he became a successful driving instructor and taught many people to drive in the Northwich area. Allan was the beloved husband of Ellen and is deeply missed by his children Trevor and Gillian, grandchildren Rachael and Joanne and great grandchildren Beth, Grace, Lucy, Curtis, Jake and Hattie.

Allan taught me to drive in the early 1970's when he was not actually a Driving Instructor full time. He knew my father and he was such a patient, gentle person perfect as an instructor. He lived in Weaverham at the time and after 5 lessons I passed my test. Thoughts are with his family

Allan you were such a lovely man you taught me (Janet Wright) and my brother (Geoffrey Davies) to drive in the 1980's You were so kind and patient and we both passed 1st time ! My father was Harry Davies (Davies & Son Accountants) and he was Allans accountant for many years here in Winsford . I worked for him at the time and so used to see Allan and Ellen frequently. I could not believe it when he moved to his present address as I Live just round the corner ! I have many fond memories of him and I hope he will rest in peace now with Ellen.
