PALIN Willaim Passed away on 10th March 2023 aged 102 years. William loving husband of the late Joan Palin and a much-loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Vale Royal crematorium on Wednesday 5th April at 12noon. Family flowers only please. I am so sorry to hear of Mr Palin’s passing. He was my teacher at Forest St Primary School in the 1950s.
He helped me through a very difficult time in my childhood and I will always remember him.
I met him again after 50 plus years at the funeral of Mr G Smith who I knew when he came to Comberbach
School where I worked.
He was as smart as I remembered him and I was able to shake his hand and thank him.
He was a wonderful man.
