PIERPOINT Alan Bernard Sadly passed away on 10th February 2022, Alan aged 90 and of Sandiway. Much loved husband of the late Mollie Pierpoint and loving Dad of Jane and Simon. Funeral service will be held at Vale Royal Crematorium on Friday 11th March at 11am. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Guide Dogs For The Blind. So sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Alan Pierpoint who taught me Maths at Sir John Deane’s GS between 1962 and 1969 (enabled me to pass my O Level one year early and also obtain a top grade at A Level).
He also gave his time on Saturdays to umpire the school cricket matches.
A fantastic teacher and a True Gentleman who was a credit to his profession and I have many fond memories of him.
My sincere condolences to all of his family who I am sure will miss him greatly.
