WITHENSHAW May (Mae) On 10th February 2022, peacefully at Leighton Hospital. May, aged 96 years, of Hartford and formerly of Acton Bridge. Devoted wife of the late Leonard, adored mum and mother in law to Peter, Philip, Susan and Janet, much loved nan of Stephen, Nicholas, Claire and Frank and great nan to Mason and Tabitha. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to be held at St Michael and All Angels Church, Little Leigh, on Friday 4th March at 11.00am followed by interment in the Churchyard. May, I grew up with you as a nan, you were loving and caring when no one else was and the only person to hug me when I was little. That meant a lot to a little girl who had no love from anyone else. Also you came and visited me when I left Northwich for many years and always worried about me and my children, thank you.
