McCARTHY Renee Renee McCarthy 89, formally of Derwent Avenue and a resident of The Laurels, Winsford, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday 28th December 2021. Renee was born in Manchester on 14 May 1932 where she met and married her husband Eugene. In 1967 they moved to Winsford to raise their family in a rural setting. The Family would like to thank everyone for their kind words during this very emotional time. Great comfort has been gained from the sympathy, love and support shown from extended family, friends, care staff and neighbours. Renee is survived by her children, Anthony and Marian, Grandchildren, Katie, Paul and Sarah. Great granddaughter, Emily and companion William Holdsworth. Lovely Renee - my number 2 Mum - lived a busy and happy life. You were always there for me, Marian and our children Paul and Sarah, but also there for others through your volunteering work. A wonderful woman. Finally, after twenty years' apart, You and Hughie are back together again. Missing you already, Mum! xxx
