NORTHWICH Victoria midfielder Kingsley Williams has dropped down two levels after failing to make an impact at the Victoria Stadium.
The teenager has signed for Vodkat North West Counties League Premier Division outfit Bacup following a loan spell there earlier this season.
He made his debut in Boro’s 1-0 win over Barnoldswick Town on Tuesday.
“It’s the right move for him at this moment in his career,” said Vics boss Andy Preece.
“Things have not worked out for him here, so it’s only fair that he seeks to play more regularly somewhere else.”
Williams, 18, made only two starts in league and cup for Northwich after leaving Championship club Sheffield United at the end of last season.
In one of those – Vics’ FA Trophy defeat at Worcester City in December – he was sent off.
He has not featured since.
Meanwhile Northwich manager Preece has told another contracted player, Keil O’Brien, that he is free to find another club.
O’Brien, also 18, last featured in Vics’ Cheshire FA Senior Cup win against Nantwich Town in December.
