Dodgson's funeral services, based in Northwich and Knutsford, are specialist funeral directors who can help you in organising a funeral throughout the Northwich, Knutsford, Winsford, and Middlewich areas.
We provide caring, considerate and professional assistance throughout funeral and bereavement process.
We can assist with almost everything from the time the bereavement occurs. We cannot, by law, register the death but we can advise and provide transport if required. We make all arrangements and assist with notifications through the press, providing flowers, printing and catering if you wish. We will advise on all you need to know but please ask if you have a particular concern.

It is advisable to consult with us at an early stage in order to decide upon the options available, particularly if the circumstances appear difficult or complicated.
It is the individual's or next of kin's responsibility to decide on either a Cremation or Burial.
We have Chapels of Rest at Victoria Street, Knutsford where families are made most welcome to visit by appointment. We also have Chapels of Rest at Lostock Green, Northwich which is conveniently placed for the Lower Peover, Plumley and Pickmere areas if preferred.
No appointment is required to visit the Chapel of Rest at NORTHWICH during normal office hours but an appointment is necessary at other times and at weekends and Bank Holidays.
Visiting our Chapel of Rest at KNUTSFORD requires an appointment at all times, but we try to accommodate any reasonable request with prior warning.
Care of the Deceased
We take great pride in the level ofcare extended to the Deceased, usinghygienic treatment wheneverpracticable with no additional cost. Existing staff are fully trained to do this work and we endeavour to introduce new staff via a structured training programme.
As a result of this caring work, the onset of natural changes which occur after death are normally delayed, leaving a peaceful, natural and more pleasing memory
On the Day of the Funeral
We take responsibility for:-
(i) Coffin and Bearers
(ii) Transport of the Main Mourners as arranged
(iii) Directing the Main Mourning Party into and out of the service (iv) Listing everyone who attends
(v) Listing Floral Tributes and Donations
(vi) Settling all relevant fees
(vii) Arranging for further consultation to discuss obituaries and acknowledgements as required
