A LONGER course and bigger prize pot awaits entrants to this year’s edition of the Cheshire Classic Women’s Road Race.
The event, part of British Cycling’s National Series, also has a new sponsor on board, house builder Taylor Wimpey.
Organiser Andy Wood, from Weaver Valley Cycling Club, said: “Women’s cycling is coming on leaps and bounds and we are proud to have secured such brilliant backers.
“It’s great news for Northwich too, as the race attracts a huge amount of visitors to the town on that weekend.”
The Classic takes place on Sunday, April 27.
