A WOMAN was found dead wearing a seizure detector device on low battery.

Samantha James died aged just 34 at her home on London Road in Northwich.

Ms James lived in supported living accommodation and was found on the floor in her room by carers on March 29.

She wore a device that could warn her of a seizure.

However, when her body was found, the batteries on this device were low.

As such, an inquest has been opened to determine whether the low batteries impacted on Ms James’ cause of death.

Senior coroner Jacqueline Devonish formally opened the inquest on Wednesday (April 17).

A case review will take place on June 16 ahead of the full inquest on August 13.
