A LADIES’ business networking event has helped raise funds for a charity raising awareness of sudden heart failure.
Creative Connecting in Cheshire, the brainchild of Sue France, held the latest of its regular ladies’ events at Nunsmere Hall Hotel last week.
The afternoon included a fashion show from ‘Worn By Us’, afternoon tea, and a raffle for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Katy Percival, of Kinderton Hat Studio in Middlewich, provided the headwear and had no shortage of volunteers for her demonstration.
The event had sponsorship from NatWest and their Cheshire business growth enabler, Andrea Richardson, also modelled in the show, showing off clothes donated by Nicola Gleave.
Debbie Dixon from CRY also got involved. Debbie holds regular free cardiac screenings for heart defects in people aged between 14 and 35.
The £360 raised from the raffle will pay for seven young people to be screened at her next session in Hartford.
