CRANSLEY School is in the swing after raising a whopping £4,500 at a golf day.
The fundraiser was organised by The Friends of Cransley, and was held at Warrington Golf Club.
The day started with bacon butties and ended with a two-course meal.
The weather was kind, and 18 holes of golf were played, Kieran Parkin being presented with a trophy for the longest drive of more than 300 yards.
The winning team, comprising Shelly Parkin, Stuart Parkin, Kieran Parkin and Oliver Greenall were presented with the Friends of Cransley claret jug by headmaster Simon Leyshon.
Auction prizes included a spa day at Hale Country Club, a US Masters shirt and cap signed by Danny Willett, along with a signed cricket shirt.
The golf day raised just over £4,500, which will be used to buy two outdoor all-weather table tennis tables and two rowing machines.
The school thanked everyone who took part and the golf club for its support.
